Giacomo Forbes began his career at the tender age of twelve in his hometown of Rome, Italy. His yearning passion for beauty and spirituality has launched home to the success that he is today.

Giacomo's creative endeavors ranged from high fashion runways of designers like Todd Oldham to formulating unique remedies for dry hair. Giacomo has worked with celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer, Emma Thompson, Elizabeth Taylor, Marissa Tomei, Yasmeen Bleeth and numerous other talents. His stylistic talents and hair care products have been praised in the worlds finest magazines including Allure, Vogue, Harpers Bazaar, as well as television shows that he hosted such as MTV, VH-1, Fashion Files, and guest of countless other talk shows.

To expand his horizons in the beauty industry, Giacomo traveled the world with religious and spiritual healers. He studied and learned Egyptian, Middle Eastern, and Chinese philosophies or aromatherapy, and natural healing, which he incorporated into his many beauty products and custom blended perfumes.  Under these studies and practices, Giacomo Forbes has successfully merged his beauty expertise, and spiritual training to create unique potions that keep customers screaming for more!

Following the success of Giacomo's salon and manufacturing companies in both New York and L.A. "Giacomo Forbes Hair"(NY), and "Angelic Healing"(LA), Giacomo a single father of three decided to reside in the heart of Texas,  San Antonio and Austin. Here, Giacomo and his team, including top plastic surgeons and natural paths, have developed a new line of hair and body care products. Giacomo opened his studio in the year 2001 in Austin, and in November 2008 at Amar Cosmetics in San Antonio, Texas.  The new San Antonio salon is a restful, comfortable sanctuary for our female clients and is open 7-days a week (Giacomo by appointment only).  We typically work from 10:00 am till about 6:00 pm, and later by appointment in an effort to accommodate our clients work, family and social schedules.  On Sundays we usually will work a shorter work day, 12:00 pm until 5:00 pm.

Hair services are offered on a women-only basis.  Mr. Forbes does not generally offer services to individuals under the age of 21 years.
